Installations Approximately 1500 ceramic vessels were installed in the open courtyard of Christ Church Cathedral in Lexington, Kentucky. Between April 12 and April 23, all 1500 vessels were carried away by viewers of the exhibit, thus expanding the installation into the ownership and personal space of the greater community. Sculptural installation requiring twofold participation from community members. The artist invited seventeen Asbury students to participate by taking a bowl from the installation, and also by extending the same invitation to others in the community. Bowls are replenished as needed throughout the exhibit. Viewers were invited to reflect upon and celebrate people who have been influential to them. Participants cut strings on the hanging bowls, suggestive of a lifetime of gathered influences, and also added to the layers of chalked names on the walls. Both actions created a record of change.
